School Ticket Program

Participate in the School Ticket Program

School Ticket Program – All elementary school students will receive one admission ticket to the fair. All elementary schools must fill out the form attached and be sure it is sent before Friday, April 10. Tickets will then be printed off in late April and in early May tickets will be available for pick up. As a reminder these tickets are specific to students only and may not be used by adults. Instead last year, we provided each school with 20 adult tickets. We will do so again this year.

School Tour Program – We provide a behind the scenes tour of our county fair from Monday, June 15 to Thursday, June 18 at 9am, 10am and 11am. This is open to all elementary school classes. In 2019, the tour included stops at the Black History Museum, the Petting Zoo, the San Mateo County Library Bookmobile, the San Mateo County Library Lookmobile, the Australian Outback Exhibit, the Hiller Aviation Exhibit, the Super Science Exhibit and the Butterfly Exhibit. These tours are at no cost to the schools. We are also able to provide school buses at no cost to the schools.

In 2019, we had schools visit from Daly City, Half Moon Bay, Redwood City, East Palo Alto and San Mateo.

The Read2Ride Program is available to any student 8th grade and younger. The Read2Ride program encourages the reading of books. After a student has read a book, they must complete a book report. This book report must be given to the fair in exchange of one ride ticket for each student. Students can submit upwards to two book reports for two ride tickets.
